Arrest made in connection with Saturday fire

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department and Mobile Police Department arrested 62-year-old Robin Dyess Saturday, January 13, 2024, and charged her with Arson First Degree in connection with a fire at Mobile Infirmary that occurred earlier in the morning.

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department was dispatched for a report of a structure fire at Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, Alabama, at about 3:32 a.m. Saturday morning, January 13, 2024.

Crews arrived on scene and responded to a fourth-floor room that had a small fire that had been extinguished prior to arrival by the fire sprinkler system. No injuries were reported.
