MFRD Celebrates National Doctors' Day

The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department proudly celebrates National Doctors’ Day, honoring the responsibility, humanity, and commitment to care of physicians around the country. 

Today, and every day, we celebrate the leadership of our Medical Director Dr. Lynn Dyess. Under Dr. Dyess’ guidance and professionalism, the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department continues finding ways improve in training, education, and application to provide quality, emergency medical care for the City of Mobile. 

This year, we’re recognizing the physicians we’ve worked with by celebrating what they do to help others. That includes the doctor who took time to explain options to a worried family, the physician who kept a small community covered through a tough stretch, and the clinicians who showed up prepared, calm, and accountable when the schedule was tight.

Dr. Dyess represents a dedication to excellence in care and compassion for patients, colleagues, and community. The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department is grateful for her leadership and expert direction.
