The MFRD and Alabama Forestry have fully-contained the wooded area south of Hannon Road. Approximately 30-acres have burned. Smoldering woods, trees, grass, and brush within the contained area will remain for days, and smoke will persist in the area.
There are no threats of fire to homes or businesses in the area.
