Current Projects

HIGHLIGHTED PROJECTS

The Public Works Department has many complex, transformative projects and initiatives for the City of Mobile. These include civil infrastructure, land acquisition, environmental, planning and vertical construction projects. Funding for these projects comes from various sources, including the RESTORE Act, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the National Fish and Wildlife Federation (NFWF), and capital funds.
