Notice of Intent to Sell – Request for Proposals to Purchase: The City of Mobile Real Estate Department is accepting bids for the disposition of the following real property [RFP available at www.cityofmobile.org/real-estate-listings and https://www.cityofmobile.gov/bids/?bid=4202 ]: Vacant Lot 3, McGregor Avenue (located in Mobile County city limits), 2,953 ± sq ft, KEY No: 12800123, Mobile, AL 36608. Said property is appraised for $15,700.00. Bids shall include at a minimum the following items: a) total purchase price; b) anticipated method of financing the purchase, c) name, address, telephone number, and legal organization of purchaser, if applicable; d) name of principal authorized to act on behalf of the purchaser; and, e) terms of sale including any required/requested contingencies. Bids shall be in writing, signed by the prospective purchaser. Bid and other supporting documentation as specified shall be submitted in a sealed, opaque envelope, approximately 9 x 12 or larger and shall be marked on the outside with the words “SEALED BID for Vacant Lot 3, McGregor in Mobile”, along with Bid Date, Bidder’s name and address and placed into a receptacle, marked “City of Mobile Bids,” at the security area (9th Floor), addressed to the City Clerk’s Office, 205 Government St., 9th Floor; if by mail, mailed to City Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box 1827, Mobile, AL 36633, and received no later than 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2026. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids received in response to this notice and the published Request for Bids.

It is the responsibility of the BIDDER to check for, download and to include with their BID RESPONSE any and all ADDENDUMS that are issued for a specific BID issued by the City of Mobile. Failure to download and include ADDENDUM(s) in your BID RESPONSE may cause your bid to be rejected. This is a sealed bid. Any responses faxed or e-mailed will be rejected. This is a sealed bid. All responses must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bid number on the outside of the envelope with the bid opening date. Any response that arrives improperly marked or with no bid number and opening date on the outside of the delivery or express package and opened in error will be rejected and not considered. It is the responsibility of the bidder to insure that their bid response is delivered to and received in the at the location or address specifically directed in the specification by the date and time prescribed.
