A Screening Of "Art Of The Game: Ukiyo-e Heroes"

Let’s watch some critically acclaimed films about artists at Ben May Main Library! Most suitable for teens and adults. Groups are welcome. In this film, the traditional art of Ukiyo-e is used to make woodblock prints of contemporary video game characters. Meet the community of artists and craftsmen it takes to create these prints, including master carvers, Japanese handmade paper craftsmen, traditional tool makers, and the digital artist/designer.
