Mobile, Ala. — Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis released the City of Mobile’s proposed Fiscal Year 2027 budget today, outlining a strategic spending plan designed to strengthen city services, invest in Mobile’s workforce and infrastructure, and position the city for continued growth.
The proposed budget was delivered to members of the Mobile City Council this afternoon and covers the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1. The plan reflects the city’s commitment to making thoughtful investments in the services and programs that have the greatest impact on residents, while preparing Mobile to take advantage of exciting opportunities on the horizon.
